About Wyrd & Wundor

Wyrd & Wundor Podcast is a creative umbrella centered on folklore and how it seeps into every aspect of our lives, both historically and today. Whether you love books, gaming, television, art, or travel, we have you covered. Wyrd & Wundor explores the roots of folklore, tracing how it formed; from the supernatural to the mundane. Join Naomi, and our beloved elven fae, Woodgrin, as they take you on a journey through the podcast and many other facets waiting to be discovered.

I have created a fictional world where you can go for a tea and slice of cake by the fire while you listen to a story. Noorly is a fae realm where you can escape the stresses of life and experience some magic!

About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel (pronounced Rah-shell) and I’m an American living over the pond in France. My interest in folklore began way back when dirt was new. My mother used to read my fairy tales at bedtime and my aunt used to buy me fantasy novels at every turn. I have always been an avid reader and enjoy writing as well! I grew up in a small town in Appalachia, but always knew I’d one day pack my bags and venture far off to see what there was to see!

I’m not just into folklore, but also enjoy painting, making jewelry, gaming, and photography. I live with my husband in a small city and we have two cats.
